Golden Pavilion Temple Miniature

The Golden Pavilion Temple in Kyoto is one of Japan's most famous. This miniature is made of wood (looks like teak) and measures 3-1/2" x 2-7/8" x 3-3/4" high. The top decoration is supposed to be a phoenix but the wings are missing as there is glue residue on both sides. Other than that, it is in excellent condition.
