NAME: Creative Japanese kokeshi with two gosho dolls

SIZE: 7" (17.8cm)

CONDITION: Few minor dents and a little larger one on the top edge of the body.

NOTES: Early Sekiguchi! Mr. Sekiguchi was born in 1925 and is still busy creating his masterpieces. He is a multi-award winning artist which includes multiple prime minister awards.

Very cute doll with two gosho dolls (imperial palace dolls). One gosho carries a rooster (year of the) and the other plays with a shishi lion head.

Great find! This dolls showcases his brush painting skills.
