NAME: Japanese creative kokeshi

MAKER: Signed

SIZE: 11-7/8" (30cm)

CONDITION: A ding above the nose and a few minor dents with a little larger one on the back of the head and on the bottom edge of the body, also in the back. Heavy darkening (aging). A 1-1/4" vertical hairline crack along the grain is on the right side. The red paint on two of the flower petals has faded some.

NOTES: This is 1 of 10 dolls that I believe to be part of a series made by female artists. The dolls are signed by their given names only and there are 4 different artist.
