NAME: Creative Japanese kokeshi of a U.S. Air Force member

MAKER: Unknown

SIZE: Overall height is 5-1/4" (13.5cm)

CONDITION: The doll is in excellent condition. Part of the jet's tail is broken off. It should be cleaned but the plastic is brittle from age and much care is needed.

NOTES: Guessing that a United States Air Force doll is hard to come by. Had thought that these were rather generic with different stickers on the plane but this doll has different "pins", hat and plane than the cabin attendant's.

One of the harder style of dolls to get as they are still very popular in Japan. If you have any books on the souvenir kokeshi, these dolls have their own section. The uniform, including her hat, is made of felt and her collar is cloth. She even has her "wings" pinned onto her uniform.
