CONDITION: Light age soiling and a hairline crack by her right thumb. There is a small chip in the finish below her lip that was noticed only through a magnifying glass.
NOTES: Sweet doll referred to as the "big sister".
With the passing Japanese periods, dolls became less and less detailed with many being made of plastic today. Although this is Showa and she has a simpler or plainer face, she still has some nice features as an open mouth with teeth showing, hands carved of wood, feet with tabi (socks) that separate the big toe from the others and gorgeous hair. Her kimono is a thin silk with a lighter (not all over) damask weave design.
