Antique Japanese Doll, First Emperor Jimmu (#2)

NAME: Antique Japanese Costume Doll of the First Emperor Jimmu w/original wood storage box.

Accessories include sword, arrows and golden bird

AGE: Early Showa (1926-1988).

SIZE: 8" (20.3cm) including his top knot.

CONDITION: Was stored well and is in very good condition.

The bird is missing it's right wing tip and the stand has a few minor scratches.

NOTES: Don't think it was ever displayed as the accessories have never been attached and the fabrics are in a very clean state.

Old newspaper at the bottom is dated Showa 7 or 1932.
