Acorn Japanese Wooden Kokeshi

Really cute vintage Japanese kokeshi of a girl and boy as acorns with original box.

The stand measures approximately 4-1/4" x 2-1/4". The dolls measure 1-1/2", not including the real tree stick used as the stem. There was quite a bit of the whitish film from the varnish aging. I have applied a natural wood oil a couple of times. It'll probably look a little white speckled but it may look more natural. The leaves have discolored with age and the box lid has all corners split.
